Why Western Red Cedar?

This timber is renowned for being extremely attractive, benefitting from a rich woodgrain and a palette of wonderful shades from a light amber through to a rich honey brown.  There may be many excellent man-made materials around but clients that opt for the Cedar range are won over the natural qualities of the cedar wood, particularly its natural lustre and subtle aroma; even as your garage doors ages, the cedar fragrance will remain, adding a stunning edge to your craftsman made doors.

The other great thing about cedar wood is that it is full of essential natural oils that preserve the wood and guard against attack by insects or decay.  Each door is hand finished and totally weather protected.  With this in mind, many of our clients opt for cedar due to its stability, strength, durability and wonderful good looks. Cedar wood will age beautifully and withstand heavy use for many years as long as you maintain it correctly.  The other added bonus is that when you finish your garage with Cedar doors, the level of insulation is superior and much better than standard wood.

Three traditional styles

Cedar doors have been manufacturing for twenty years and provide three sorts of up-and-over garage doors:

• Traditional Solid Panelled

Available in a range of sizes, you can choose from 6ft to 18ft wide by 5ft 6ins to 8ft high.  Each style looks superb when fitted to a modern or traditional style of garage.
