Manufactured in Dorset UK, Wessex Doors are a major manufacturer GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester) garage doors.  Incredibly popular, GRP is tough and great at withstanding even the severest of weather conditions.  Perfect for those that live by the sea.  If salt is a problem for you, then GRP will not rust or corrode and it needs very little maintenance.

Looks like timber

Wessex use timber-formed moulds to create their finished product, meaning that you end up with GRP that has grain and detail just like real wood.  The final touch is their hand-applied antiquing which results in a garage door that looks very much like timber but is much tougher and easier to look after.

Wessex up-and-over garage doors

Extremely popular, these are built onto a strong corrosion resistant steel chassis.  Doors come in either:

3 Crown range – standard specification, available as regular or bespoke sizes.

4 Crown Range – here the back of the garage door panel has an additional coat of resin to ensure increased rigidity and a neat look from the inside, finished in white.

Wessex side-hinged garage door

This is a traditional style crafted from modern materials and with quality hardware. Very reliable and strongly built, you will not have to worry about hinges sagging.  Choose from Classic or Premier Build quality with both providing superb strength and security.
